A1. You should be able to see the lines clearly on your cue shaft and on the red and yellow balls as well as the cue ball. Because the lines are red they don’t reflect very well off of dark colored balls such as green and black and can be hard to see on the table surface particularly if you have strong lighting.
A2. It could be that the batteries are going flat. Please check and replace the batteries if required.
A3. The lens could be dirty. Try cleaning it with a lens cleaning cloth.
A1. The product needs 4 x AA sized batteries and any type including re-chargeable are O.K. We don’t recommend you mix battery types.
A2. How long they last depends on the type of batteries you are using. A good quality brand name battery such as the Duracell Ultra should last more than 20 hours.

A. Yes. AngleBuddy can be used on any size table and with any size of playing balls.
The only restriction is the width of the cushion rails when you are using AngleBuddy to line up a bank shot. AngleBuddy gives you accurate target lines by using an adjustable railstop to pre-set the pivot point of the lasers ½ ball out from the inside edge of the cushion. The amount of adjustment on the railstop means that it can only accommodate cushion plus rail widths of between 3” (75 mm) and 6” (155 mm). So far we have not encountered any tables with wider or smaller cushion plus rail widths. (Please let us know if yours is and we may be able to supply you with a longer or shorter railstop)
A. No. Most competition rules state something to the effect that you may only use ‘standard’ billiards equipment, such as ‘normal’ cues, cue rests, gloves etc while playing a match, so other than not being either in the letter or the spirit of the rules, it wouldn’t be fair if you used AngleBuddy during a match. There is nothing wrong with gaining an ‘unfair advantage’ by practicing with AngleBuddy to improve your skills before you play in a match.
